The Joint Administration and Matriculation Board has disclosed that it will deploy ‘pin vending’ for the 2017 UTME test registration. Dr Fabian Benjamin, the board’s Head of Media and Information, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos that it would no longer use scratch cards instead PIN VENDING method will be adopted for 2017 UTME Registration.
According to him the public especially prospective UTME candidates should start getting familiar with the new system as the board will no longer make use of scratch cards. Jamb has advised its 2017 candidates to adapt to the pin vending process over scratch cards for the 2017 UTME test and beyond to adopt the pin vending approach.
Candidates who will be wishing to register for the examination will just make online payment and get a pin with which they can upload their data. The Pin Vending method will be accessible through the options of web payment, ATM issued cards like Visa, Verve, and Master card, online Quick Teller, mobile application and Bank Branch case/card.
