After first start-up, Gmail Offline will automatically synchronize messages and queued actions anytime Chrome is running and an Internet connection is available.

When you Install the Gmail Offline App for Chrome, You can read, respond to, and search your Gmail messages when you aren’t connected to the Internet. When Installed, your messages will sync with your browser’s storage on the computer you’re using.

Note: If you’re using a public or shared computer, don’t install Gmail Offline because others who use the computer could see your messages.

How To Access Email Messages Offline | Use Gmail Offline

1. Visit the Gmail Offline page in the Chrome Web Store.
2. Click Add to Chrome
3. Next Click “Add app”.
4. In Chrome, visit chrome://apps
5. Click Gmail offline (The Blue Envelop-message Icon).
6. Click Allow offline mail
7. Then Click Continue.

Important Note: After the app is installed, your messages will start syncing. If you close Google Chrome while your messages are syncing, sync will stop.

Get Gmail Offline

Any messages you write, archive, label, or delete while you’re offline will be sent or moved when you connect to the Internet.

1. When you’re offline, visit chrome://apps
2. Then Click Gmail Offline
3. (The Blue Envelop-message Icon).

Note: You can only add attachments of up to 5 megabytes (MB) for a single attachment, and 25 megabytes (MB) total for a single message.
