NCC Gives MTN Deadline To Pay N1.04 Trillion Fine – Update on the agreement between NCC and MTN – now the Nigerian Communications Commission has agreed that the deadline date to pay up its N1.04 trillion fine will be on 16th of November 2015, so telecoms giant MTN are to comply before the time.

And according to report, telecoms giant MTN executives are said to be in Nigeria to discuss the fine with the regulator.
As we all know that N1.04 trillion fine from Ncc on the South African company for failing to disconnect the sim of 5.1 million subscribers whose details were not registered. Because in August, the NCC had, asked all telecoms operators to disconnect all unregistered lines, a deadline which MTN missed. This prompted a $1000 fine for each unregistered sim card.
