The Nigeria Police Academy is located in Wudil, Kano State, Note that both male and female are free to applier, to serve their motherland by completing one of the courses.

Nigeria Police Academy Screening Requirements

The following are the necessary requirement needed to start the Nigeria Police Academy Screening Requirements

How To Start?

  1. Purchase PIN CODES from any of the branches of Zenith Bank Plc nationwide at the cost of N3,500.00 only, which includes bank charges of N500.
  2. Note that the application form has to be filled online, so proceed to the official website of the Academy: www.nigpoliceacademy.org

NPA Examination Requirement:

  •     Acknowledgement Form
  •     JAMB Slip
  •     Examination Card
  •     2 Two postcard size photographs (3.5×5 inches)
  •     Bank Payment Slip/Confirmation Page

NPA – Admission Requirements

  1. NATIONALITY:     Candidates seeking admission into the Academy must be Nigerian citizens.
  2. AGE:                        Candidate must be between 18yrs to 22yrs.
  3. HEIGHT:                Candidate must not be less than 1.68 metres (male) and 1.63 metres (female).
  4. CHEST SIZE:         Male candidate must have an expanded chest size of not less than 36 inches (91cm).
  5. EXAMS CREDIT:     Candidates must have obtained a minimum of  6 credits.
  6. EXAM TYPE:         WAEC, NECO, AND NABTEB.
  7. FITNESS:               Candidates must also obtain satisfactory scores in both the written examination
    and the interview and must pass rigorous physical and psychological tests of fitness.

  • B.A. English

  • B.A. Nigerian Languages and Linguistics

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOLLOWING THE OFFICIAL SITE

The following are the admission requirements:

a.  Candidates seeking admission into the Academy must be Nigerian citizens and must be between 17 and 22 years of age, and must have a height of not less than 1.67 Metres (5 Feet 6 Inches) if male, and 1.62 Metres (5 Feet 4 Inches) if female. In addition, male candidates must have an expanded chest size of not less than 86cm (34 Inches for those between 21 and 22 years of age). All candidates must be free from any physical deformity or mental disability.

b. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of SIX (6) credits at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the National Examinations Council (NECO) or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) at not more than 2 sittings. All Candidates must also have a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics as well as subjects relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of study in the Academy.

c.  Candidates must also obtain satisfactory scores in both the written examination and the interview and must pass physical and psychological tests of fitness.

d.   SSCE STATEMENT OF RESULTS OR CERTIFICATES RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS TAKEN BEFORE 2015 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
