Sony Music International – Wizkid Signs Multi Album deal with RCA Records – Nigerian popular singer and song Writer, Wizkid has signed a multi-album deal with RCA records/sony music International. The deal was sealed after American rap artists, Drake and skepta gave their own remix of one of Wizkid’s song titled ‘Ojuelegba’.

The remix by this American rap artist, gave the Music a worldwide recogniton, which brought about the recognition of the owner of the Song (Wizkid).

In a statement by Wizkid to the American Entertainment’s site;billboard.com, he said – What’s important to him is for music to be real, authentic, raw and timeless.

“I don’t wanna be boxed in to just one genre. It’s hard for me to describe what I do, since I work with rhythms from Afro-Beat, reggae, hip-hop, dance hall and others.” he added.

Meanwhile the RCA Records chairman and CEO, Peter Edge was glad to welcome WizKid to RCA Records. “We are extremely excited to have him as a part of RCA and are eager for the journey ahead.” the CEO said.

Still on the deal, Sony Music International president of Northern & Eastern Europe and Africa Adam Granite said they are more excited to welcome WizKid to the Sony Music family.

According to sony music international, It is an important signing, as wizkid will help the movement and conquer the Globe.
