  • From your browser, go to www.gmail.com

  • You will be taken to the “get a verification code” link if you have added your recovery email ID in the account
  • Complete the email ID and click on the “Send” button to receive the email with the code
  • Next, open your alternate email ID and copy the received code and enter it in the verification box
  • Click on the Next button and then enter the new password
  • Then confirm it on the next page to get your account  back
