In our recent post concerning JAMB, We gave you an article on JAMB reducing the Hours for it’s Examination. Now, JAMB as Adopted a new method Eight-key device System for the 2017 CBT examination, in order for Candidates with low level of computer Knowledge to be able to Cope with the Examination.
In a retreat in Kaduna, Jamb Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, disclosed that the board would not go back to the old paper and pencil mode, but an eight-keys device.
JAMB Adopts Eight-key device System for CBT 2017 Examination
Candidates no longer have to drag the Mouse here and there in other to click any answer or option of their Choice. Rather, JAMB Board has designed a system that will allow candidates use only eight (8) keys, in place of the Mouse.
The only thing candidates needs to do with the Eight keys are stated below;
⇒ Letters A, B, C, D to give answers to Questions.
⇒ Letters P, N, S, R for different functions, See functions;
P = Previous question
N = Next question
S = Submit answers when candidate has finished examination
R = Reverse; do not intend to go further to submit again.
This method is more preferred most especially for Candidates who has low knowledge of Operating a system. And instead of going back to Paper and Pencil method, this eight-key device is a great initiative by the Board.
