On JAMB Issues: ASUU ask JAMB Registrar Prof Ishaq Oloyede to Voluntarily Resign

Following the on-going JAMB 2017 registration and Problems faced with this year JAMB, the Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU) University of Ibadan Chapter, Dr. Deji Omole, has asked the JAMB Registrar Prof Ishaq Oloyede to voluntarily Resign from Office.

Dr. Deji Said that the way the Registration is going and the Problem Faced by candidates trying to register for the Examination, can Kill ones dream of going to higher Education.

Further speaking, Dr. Deji Omole said that “the body has stayed longer than usefulness and the best thing is to scrap it and allow universities design their standard examination for their own candidates”.

The Academic Union of Universities urged the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu to call the registrar to order to lessen the difficulty being experienced by the candidates.

Dr. Deji further pointed out various Angle s that the JAMB Registrar as Faulted; Like Making the registration one month against the usual three months registration it use to be, and also the registration challenges.

He described the policy as inhuman especially to the Nigerian students seeking/yarning for higher Education and this is what brings about Students being Defrauded. He Added
