The white house first black female chief usher and second African American to hold the position in the white house, Angella Reid was relieved of her duty during the early hours on Friday. This was noted when her colleagues arrived for duty that morning and the news got to them that Angella has be dismissed.

The white house resident were shocked when the news came to them concerning the dismissal.

The principal deputy White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that ‘Angella is no longer employed at the White House’.

She further added saying

“We left on very good terms and wish her the very best and certainly hope for great things for her in the future.

However, it’s not uncommon you might have a transition of staff when a new administration comes in. It’s nothing more than that.”

When Angella was reached on Phone, she didn’t comment, rather she only said, “she think it’s best if the White House explains.”

From the look of things, No specific reason for her dismissal is known.

Angella Reid’s job

Her job at the White House was to coordinate all activities at the residence, including handling everything from the large staff of butlers, maids, chefs, florists and electricians to fiscal, administrative and personal duties

She was employed in 2011 by former President Barack Obama.
